Lawyers, Lawyers, Lawyers!!!

The same thing happened to me. I called my lawyer too and talked to her about it and she basically ignored my concerns and told me to chill as well. I finally emailed the London embassy and found out that it had been mailed a month prior. She was a ding-dong. I am so glad we ae through with her.

I am seriously just sitting here and shaking my head.... you know, i dont think i have heard one positive story about a lawyer on here since i've started using VJ.

What I don't like about lawyers is other than major things and advice, lawyers can't do anything we can't do yet they pretend that this is BIG BAD IMMIGRATION. Basically it is that way with or without the lawyer. In fact with my situation, the embassy was none too pleased with our lawyer and actually said her advice in our situation was WRONG. We were pretty angry. She was incompetent.

Basically the lawyers throw around big words and I wouldn't have used her in the first place if I didn't travel so much. Now with doing my AOS, I am so happy I don't have her weighing us down.
