She needs to go at the Non-US/Visitor's Line/area- present to the immigration officer your passport, visa packet (sealed brown envelop), the I-94 (from the plane, they will give this to passengers before landing and she need to fill this one), she will be asked to sign a form. They will give her some documents also (to read). Some suggest to hand carry the chest x-ray (CXR) films, but they did not take my CXR films. There are some States/Immigration officer that take the CXR films. But do not place or give your Vaccination Worksheet form from SLEC, you will need this for your adjustment of status (Competion of vaccination requirements).

San Francisco was my POE when I arrived here October last year. I was escorted by one of the security guards to the NON-IMMIGRANT line when I asked and showed him my K1 visa.

Please remind your fiancee to fill up the I-94 before landing so she wont get delayed. When it will be her turn she should give the brown envelope and passport with the I-94 to the immigration officer and be ready to answer simple questions about you . I was asked my then fiance's address and if there was already wedding plans and I said yes and even offered if she wanted to see my wedding gown :) . I know most of the ladies here were not asked to show their x-ray films in other POEs but I was so it is better to hand carry it to avoid delays. Her picture and fingerprints will be taken.

My luggages were not opened by the custom officers because they have an xray for that purpose. I was just asked if I brought with me food, etc. It was quick and easy.

Goodluck to your fiancee.

I read one of the post here in VJ that SFO has Non-immigrant and Immigrant or New Immigrant and the USC line...I would like to confirm.
