I have already sent in DS-230 along with all supporting documentations including a PCC. The PCC Is from the Passport office. My wife did not get a PCC from district police office. Can anyone tell me if that will be valid? Her passport was renewed last year. I am confused now. What should I do?

All my wife did was go to the passport office and asked for a PCC and within 10 days her passport and PCC came in. I dont know it just one sheet of paper.

Agent is right if you check the consulate site if does state that in some areas in Gujarat it is impossible to get an PCC, so you are OK and do not worry about. you only need one from passport office.

hope this helps
