2nd interview!

To Carmi who undergo a second interview ....ive met her during my medical and interview and she was a good friend i could keep....I never thought this will gonna happened to her....maam just be strong and always think positive....to know that your passport has been keep by the CO means a lot of positive things to think about :thumbs: ...Just wait till they call you and let you know whats going on...It will gonna be OK...just always pray to God

It makes me worried reading your experience and am glad envy me brought this up. I am from Bicol pa and have my 2 girls, I can't imagine ourselves being asked for a 2nd interview with the increasing fares and hotel rates, too bad.

I think that is like throwing sheep to the wolves.

Seems like most of the admin reviews are coming from one or two COs and the cos dont have the tact to realize that some of the filipina nature/culture makes some of them quite docile and when confronted with very personal questions .....the cos do not get fast snappy answers they are looking for.

Then the co gets suspicious, and does not realize that they are talking to a very nice gentile woman with a good morale code. Then they start drilling them with the questions that should not have any bearing on the pass or no pass of the interview. My fiancee was drilled about why if she was a good girl that we have a picture together in the hotel room on the bed. What was she doing in the private room with me? Why were we in the bed together? Even though we both had all of our cloths on, and you have to think ... someone took the picture. They are so busy drilling the lady that she does not even have a fair chance to explain. So the COs are just pushing perfectly inocent people in a corner then causing lots of undo stress.

Yes there job is to weed out the bad people, but they are trying to deny perfectly good relationships, not to mention wonderful people that will support our social system of family. I am throughly convienced that my wife to be is so much better mentaly and emotionaly than any woman I could fing reasonabley in my community, and I am sure that many of you hold the same values.

i think there's an explanation why people are having 2nd interviews, we just know yet..

i think its better for the rest of us who will soon have the interview to be confident and firm in answering the CO's questions. i agree that some filipinas are not too open or if i may say, uncomfortable when being asked about their personal life issues... i think the story of SITKAN is quite alarming how COs can be a bit too personal in their question.. i think the best way is to say it straight to their faces the very reason why the 2 of you are on the bed laying.(my opinion) weather something happened or nothing happened, i think its better to feed and satisfy the dogs than to let them bark non stop

Parang nagpapalit yata sila ng room number. If I remember it right, in one cubicle, two or three room number assignment. The second time I went there to submit, the CO who interviewed me was inside the same cubicle but different room number .

Answering the CO or even the pre-screener w/ confident will be even more convincing to them. On the day of interview, try to relax and don’t bother to think anything or trying to memorize all the answers that might the CO or pre-screener asked u. coz everything they will be asking is about you and your fiancé’s info and it will just pop up or came up into your mind. Try to answers all their questions (from pre-screener to CO) w/ SMILE. It worked to me. And also, whatever we answered in the pre-screening stage, will also affect in CO’s interview.

I have to admit I am worried about this 2nd interview, though am confident 'coz everything that will be asked is about 'our' relationship and as long as it is for real/genuine, nothing should be worried about. Well, we aren't in control of the CO's decision and since we are the one in need of visa approvals all we got to do is say yes and comply! Was now told by my fiance' to stop reading here,LOL if only it will affect me, hehehe, but I told him that every topic here is something to learn from and be able to anticipate for similar circumstances. Pano na kaya yun mga galing sa provinces like me who's from Bicol and with my 2 girls. Huwag naman po.

Good luck mga sis, I don't know how it will be for us without VJ, lalo na ang Philippine forum.
