I AM SO CONFUSED WHEN I AM SUPPOSED TO SEND MY FORM N 400 I GOT MARRIED IN PERU APRIL 2005 I WAS NO SUPPOSED TO GET THE PERMANENT CREDIT CARD AND APPLY FOR CITIZEN ? CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME OUT?

THANKS

3 year time clock will start from Green Card issurance.

Only good thing from your case is that probably you will receive 10 year Green Card since you managed 3 years for your marriage life, and you don't have to worry about lifting condition with I-751 with 2 year Green Card.

When you receive your green card, you will see date from "residenct since".

You can apply N400 when you keep marrying with same US citizen for the period, and 90 days prior to 3 year anniversary date from "residenct since" date.

That makes two of us that are confused, did you or did you not receive your "PERMANENT CREDIT CARD"?

Actually that would be a permanent resident card, but not really that permanent as it's conditional with marriage of less than two years. But you have to apply and receive that first before you can even think about the N-400. Please clarify.
