We filed an I-485 and an I-765 on April, 22, 2008. We received an acknowledgment from the NBC on April 29, 2008. After a request for additional information, we received a letter from the NBC advising that our papers were transferrred to the CSC for expedited processing. This occurred on July 14, 2008. Last week we were advised that the I-485 and the I-765 have both been approved (just under four months).

We do have some questions and would greatly appreciate any feedback:

1. Do we still have to go for an interview?

2. My wife already had her prints taken at an USCIS office in June in connection with this application. Would she need to take another set of prints before she gets her green card?

3. Due to a typographical error, my wife has the incorrect middle initial on her I-485 but not on the I-765. This has resulted in two A#s, with the correct A # listed on the I-765. We brought this to the attention of the USCIS during the biometrics appt and were advised to make the correction at the interview. What is the best way to resolve this?

Thanks

Hi,

You were approved at CSC, that means that you will have no interview. Congrats. No further fingerprinting either. You will receive a green card in the mail in a few weeks.

Now, about the problem with the 2 A#s and the middle initial? I would make an infopass and try to sort it.
