DV usually takes a month to process.

I received a white slip for DV, I got my visa after 3 weeks.

hello po. I'm a newbie here.

I was interviewed last August 5.

I went through the pre-screening (which took longer than my interview with the CO)

then finger print scanning

Finally consulate officer interview with a pretty young American lady (i can't forget how her ring looks. its too damn nice)

she asked me a few questions. like how did me and my spouse meet, blah blah

she said, "everything looks very well fine. kindly wait outside for your name to be called and then they'd give you instructions on what to do next)

we both bid goodbyes and exchanged thank yous

it didn't take too long i guess coz she knew and obviously i look and i am pregnant (8mos going 9)

so, it has not been 5 minutes since i was seated outside after the CO interview. my name was called on window 38 (as most of us knows, the releasing window)

the young lady there asked me if I already paid the delbros document verification fee. i said YES. she asked for the receipt. I gave it. I paid it on July 25, 2008. She handed me a pink slip stating that i have to pay the visa delivery fee. she also gave me the letter (WHITE PAPER).

At first, I thought I had to fill it out since I didn't check it right away. So i asked her what to do with it. She said its just a confirmation letter. i said, Ok thanks.

I went to the Delbros area, filled out the form, payed the 250 pesos delivery fee.

Im kind of bothered as to what the white paper means. Can anybody explain what that means? Just for my peace of mind. Thanks a lot for your responses.

I've received my visa almost 6 weeks due to docs verification I paid my visa delivery fee and was given a 221g white paper. I was confused that time too but girl once u pay ur visa delivery I am very sure u passed the interview and that white paper is a docs verification. All you need to do s call delbros and ask Robbie what date the embassy forward ur docs to NSO and u call NSO too and ask Richard what date he recieved ur docs. Thats what i've been doing before and at the same time my fiance and I made phone calls to US embassy too to their local numbers and talked to grace and lorraine many times. I dont have their number now since i am here now n the US but u can find it here is visajourney. Goodluck to u and to ur husband and dont forget to pray. Dont worry too much u will get ur visa soon.
