k3 visa. got the pink slip but i also got a white paper

good morning everyone!

here's an update.

i texted Delbros today asking as to when they sent my documents to NSO. that was at 750am. I got a reply at 945am today.

"Delbros has received your text message. We are currently verifying your message and we weill get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you"

Then at 950, i received another text message from Delbros again saying, "Please be informed that your document is already with the NSO on July 25, 2008. The turnaround time of NSO to produce result is within the range of 1-4weeks. US Embassy will receive result from the NSO as soon as it is ready. Thank you."

I think that's good news. But is it ok to check with the NSO this time if what Delbros texted me is true? I would just like to confirm it with the NSO.

its weird nga eh. coz i paid the verification fee way ahead the interview date. July 23 i checked the confirmation message sent by Delbros. tapos interview ko aug5. then pagdating ko sa releasing, they asked about the DV fee if i've paid it. i said yes. they asked for the receipt. i gave it. they didn't return it na nga...

oh well......

they said it's advisable to pay doc verification a month before ng interview..

anyways ganon din ginawa sa kin they asked for the receipt..

but i gave them just a photocopy of the receipt..

its funny and at the same time irritating kasi they'd say advisable to pay a month before the interview pero others have done it yet, they still get stuck sa DV na yun! hayyy...some companies talaga tend to be so incompetent when it comes to service.

pero ano bang magagawa natin? beggars cant be choosers...

You have the same case as mine. July 18 naman ako na interview, still waiting for my visa too. Pareho pa tayo ng service center, taga saan ang husband mo sa california ba? Anyway the best thing you can do is follow up on your papers at USEM, Delbros, and NSO.

Better ask your husband to do the follow up sa USEM kasi mas mabait sila sa mga US citizens. Your husband can call this number : 63 02 3012000 local 5184, 5185. Best time to call is from 2pm till 4pm (Philipppine Time). Usually kapag may kausap ang agent sa kabilang linya, machine ang sasagot, just tell your husband to keep pressing zero until the agent picks up the phone

Madaming nagrereklamo sa Delbros dahil sa pangit na service nila. But still try to follow up on your DV (document verification) sa kanila. What you do is text: Your Case Number_followed by your name_reason for texting, then send to 09176221949. Usually sumasagot naman sila sa text, pero minsan hindi. So you can call there landline 02 3392761, sabihin mo sa makakasagot na nagtext ka na sa hotline nila pero wala ka namang natatangap na reply.

Sa NSO naman, dun nila tiningnan kung hindi ba fake ang mga documents na sinubmit mo sa embassy like the birth certificate, cenomar, marriage license, and so forth. USually mabilis lang ito matapos. Nagtatagal lang talaga sa Delbros kaya kulitin mo lagi ang delbros kasi sila ang magdadala ng DV mo sa NSO. You can call NSO to confirm kung dumating na ba ang DV mo dun or kung natapos na ba at naibalik na nila sa Delbros. Delbros in turn naman ay ibabalik ang DV mo sa embassy. You can call NSO @ this number 02 9267333 and look for richard.

sabi it would take 15 working days daw. i coconfirm daw yung name ko etc. so medyo matatagalan daw yun... uhmmm ok!?!? that helped a bit. so i guess i would have to wait for a month???? yikes!

The hormones does that, hehe, but try to have more patience, you'll get through this. Sabi nga ng CO mo na all is well di ba, so cheer up And try mo pa rin tawagan sila, I had luck callingNSO at 1pm

if bibilang ng 15 working days from the date they received the document which was on July 25, 2008

eto timeline:

25July (Friday) - i'll exclude this day na. so id start the 15 working days count Monday 28July

If you count 15 working days (excluding saturday and sunday), the 15th day would fall on Aug.15

so they'd send back pa the documents to USEM. once its with USEM gaano pa kaya katagal? haha

then once approved, it would take at least 3 days for the delivery...

so estimated time of the visa packet arrival would be one month from today... ganun na lang siguro....

i'll update you guys from time to time din para sa mga nainterview/maiinterview na same case sakin..

ako i made sure na super nice ng voice ko over the phone. so Richard explained to me very well how the process goes. ayun... hehe natakot siguro sila na baka isa ko sa mga irate callers hehehe pero siyempre ayoko naman matagalan lalo yung papers ko dun so nagbait-baitan na lang muna ko hahaha

We both the same day for interview and got also a famous white slip..'and my consul is pretty too like yours..just like the way she said''everything is fine' and so and so..but still recieved the white slip stating' Wait till you hear from us" ...

I pay my dv last july 9 so i don't know how the process was bec marrisa paid her

dv last july 16..we both single..And we are under K1 too.

My fiance got a little irritated when i told him about that ..I don't think that i have a problem with my BC , cenomar..coz ive been in NSO before my interview to get the four copies of my Bc.

I'm a little bit worried too coz i have already a ticket. We will start bugging them next week(USEM)..hehehhe

i have no problems regarding my birth certificate, certificate of no marriage and even my and my husband's marriage certificate. everything was registered on time.

i requested for the said documents even before i received the notice of action.

i guess its the process on how they do the document verification that has glitches. they are not in sync (the big three - DLEBROS, USEM and NSO)

if i were you, i'd bug them now.

How did it go for Marissa?? Did she get her visa packet already?

I'm not quite familiar with how they do it on K-1 visas... but i think its quite similar to K-3 processing also..

lets just hope and pray that we'd get our visa packets soon....
