Re: I-485 Adjustment of Status

I had my biometrics completed last July 23. Today I receive a notice of new appointment for Aug 16 stating that FBI was unable to process my fingercard, and that in order for USCIS to continue processing my application, it is necessary to have my fingerprints re-taken. It further states that it will be completed at no addtional expense. Yeap, no additional expense, but that means another 6 hours drive back and forth to the nearest ASC. I will call USCIS on Monday about this. In the meantime, is there anyone here who had the same experience/situation? Shall I ignore this appointment notice? My case is transferred to California Service Center now. I wonder why this thing happen. If there is something wrong with fingerscan, they should have known it same day, wouldn't you agree?

I had my biometric April 24 of this year then I received another notice AGAIN for my biometric appointment I-1485 same notice like my first one and I wondered why. I called the USCIS about that then she said that I need to call the local office and ask why…I do not want to go back there for how many hours of driving… :crying:
