URGENT! Confusion about VFS at NEW DELHI

Hello All,

I would appreciate anyone's assistance who has gone through the K-3 process at New Delhi embassy. My wife has received her packet 4 and her interview is scheduled for August 13. In the packet she received, there is no information about what to submit at VFS. Can anyone please guide us what the exact procedure is after obtaining packet 4? She has already submitted the DS-230 Part 1 and copy of the biographic pages of her passport.

Also, since she is coming on K-3 visa, does she need to fill out the DS-156 form? Her packet 4 didnt say anything about DS-156 but I see that for non-immigrant visa DS-156 is required. We dont have too many days before her interview and I understand that she needs to submit certain documents 10-15 days before the interview. So I would really appreciate if you can help us on the next steps. Thanks.

Also, is it mandatory to submit my W-2 forms? I will be sending her notarized I-134 along with 3 years of IRS tax transcripts, employment letter and bank statements so is that enough?

best of luck for your wife's interview on the 13th - you and i are in the same boat.

My wife is in Delhi today getting her Medical done and dropping off forms at VFS.

She also has her interview on Aug 13th at the Delhi embassy. You and I will be holding our breaths together

your wife is submitting the originals or the photocopy of the documents? And where she is doing her medical? I called Apollo hospital in New Delhi, they are saying that it will take 2-3 days to get the report? Is your physician also said the same. I read one post of Roza, their medical was done in Apollo of chandigarh where they got the report in the evening itself and their medical lasted only one day.

My wife went to Apollo to get her medical done. Yes they take 3 days, so she'll be picking up her medical report and taking it with her by hand to the interview rather than submitting to VFS. Also, she is submitting everything to VFS, originals and requested photocopies.

Thanks for the information. I also called apollo and they told me to come today itself. Therfore, I will try my level best to reach there today itself. As far as VFS is concerned, they told me that I need to submitt the documents today itself as they remain off on saturday's. But, I would not be able to submitt them any documents other than the compulsory courier fees i.e., Rs.365. Other documents I will submitt at the time of my interview as per the US Embassy website of New Delhi.
