Hi guys,

When we filed my wife's AOS and I-130 packets last week 7/17/08, I did not include an employment letter fro me (petitioner) but included 7 most recent paystubs plus recent year benefits print out....

Do you think I should have included an employment letter? or they will send me RFE letter?

Any thoughts?

I did the exact same thing. I got an RFE for my employment letter. Also they requested 6 months of pay stubs. I'd just go ahead and get the letter just in case they do RFE. Dont worry though, if they want it, they will RFE you for it!

:help:

I appreciate your input, but could you please elaborate on the format of the employment letter that you have sent? is it just name and start date of employment or more detailed? ( I want to tell the HR in at my agency how the letter should be)

Also, can you clarify if they asked for employment letter together with paystubs? and are you saying 6 paystubs or 6 months of paystubs which might add up to 12 individual paystubs.

Finally, do you have the work permit and advance parole by now?

Please follow up ....

Thank you in advance
