I'd like to see how our cases are denied or approved based on:

1. how we were introduced

2. which visa we applied for

3. the number of visits/trips we made

please help me complete the poll and provide any details about your interview

Thanks

This poll won't let me vote because I cannot put anything in Question 2, because we got pink on the first try.

We met online, she has no relatives here, I visited 3 times, and we got pink on the first try.

Great Idea

However, like Melrose Plant, I get an error message because I didn't fill in anything about being denied because we got pink!

We met online, she has no relatives here, I visited 3 times (including her interview), and we got pink on the first try for a K1 visa.

I met my fiancee through her aunt, who is a United States citizen and works with me. I have known her aunt for almost 6 years now.

We applied for a K-1, fiancee visa.

We initially received a green slip. We did not bring the correct police certificate and we also needed to bring a letter with our relationship timeline. I typed mine and had it notarized. We also sent a letter from her aunt stating her name, Vietnamese name, date of birth, and the same information for each of her family members. We also sent 2 letters from mutual friends who attested to the fact that I've known her aunt for many years. I sent in my initial "change of status" form for work, which lists the date I started working and my initial salary. Her aunt sent in a copy of her work ID.

The second interview we received a pink slip.

I made 2 trips to Vietnam: one was for 2 weeks and the other was for 4 weeks.

Hi, I'd like to participate in your poll. We've got an interview date, Aug. 8. Our interview hasn't come yet, so I could not do that. Shouldn't you have made a poll for people like me? because your invitation states that "replying to if you got the interview date..."

I'm sorry kilun. I really like you to participate into this poll. Please come back after Aug. 8th.

I'd like to wish you two with all best luck on the interview day.

Please keep us posted. My interview date is on Aug 19, so I really need to learn from your experience.

My fianceé just passed the interview today, so I am able to participate in this poll now. My fianceé was introduced to me by her aunt-in-law. I made 2 visits to Vietnam: one time to meet her and the other time for the engagement ceremony.

Redo this Poll please. It almost doesn't make sense!

Green/Blue Explain? You probably better off create a separate poll to collect data samples on the Blue/Green slips.
