Leaving P.I. in a couple of days without fiancee

We had our Visa interview on June 18th, i had bought return tickets for my fiancee to go back to USA on July 1 with me.

But thanks to the infamous document verification i'll leave alone. I have her flight scheduled on 1st week of September, i hope by then the document verification will be resolved. We did visa interview and CFO on June 18th, and on June 19th we got the hell out of Manila as fast as we could.

We made a trip to Camiguin Island and i fell in love with this place. It is close to paradise in P.I. that i have found, clean water, clear blue ocean, no pollution, no over population, no traffic jams, no beggars, and price is much cheaper than average prices in PI.

Have a safe trip back home! Doc Verification is something we didn't have to go through last year... It seems like the majority of Visa Issuances are delayed now because of it. What are they going to come up with next? Anyway, hang in there and soon you two will be together!

Hang in there. I hope you get your visa soon. I agree with everything you said about Camiguin and just want to add the people there are so friendly. We rented a motorcycle while we stayed at Paras resort and everywhere we rode people would give us a friendly wave and hi. It feels very safe there too. We could serious live there.

Have you tried calling NSO and check if they already sent out the results to USEM? Suggest you give them a call so you'll have a better idea on what to expect.

Don't worry your visa will be delivered soon. I haven't received mine and not sure when I'll get it but regardless I know it will come real soon. Hopefully sometime this week or next week perhaps.

Sorry to hear that! :(

My fiancee also has the infamous doc verification so I know how you feel.

Anyways, just to give you an update. Her interview was June 10, and the USEM called her 2 days ago so we know they're working on the cases in just 3 weeks! Most likely, they'll contact your fiancee sometime next week if they need anything from her.

Good luck with the documents. Did you get a chance to check out Johnny's Dive Shop? They have great room rates, excellent food and wonderful diving spots including the reef off White Island. We stayed in the Paris Beach Resort next door to Johnny's but next time it will be all Johnny's.

We stayed a Golden Sunset and it was 1400 peso per night, and a great place with the White Island in front this place.

Only Diving I did was in the bed between the sheet.

But I will be back to Camigun, I have been to Hawaii, Tahati, Cancun, lots of the Caribbean and this place ranks up there in beauty.
