Hi All

Nothing major happening with me ... just marking time until I can file my divorce papers. I'm trying to put some of the I-129F stuff together too - but a bit confused about what to fill in on the forms - it asks questions about military service and also whether I have committed any crimes. Do I need to fill that in on my fiance's form too? He's the USC ...

I'm not sure if I can upload a song track here, but I wanted to share OUR song with you all - listening to it is one of the things that keeps me going. Funny how people have little things that help them along ... :) I'll just post the link - that will probably save me some time!!

Hope you're all doing ok and have had a peaceful week .... take care!!

The I-129f is the petition for the alien fiance and is to be filled out by the USC (your fiance). Part C relates to his military/criminal past.

The Guides will serve you well in putting the packet together correctly.

You are most welcome.

If you follow the guides and use the 'examples' provided by VJ as reference it will make things much easier for you.

Hope you are able to file soon! We had to wait quite some time too.... it will be a big relief when you can finally get those papers sent off!

Relief ... yes. These have been the longest two years of my life!! If someone had told me three years ago that I would go through a marriage breakup, meet an american man on the net, fall in love with him and turn my whole life upside down - I would have said they were mad! But here I am .. marking off the days until I can be with him for life .. (L)

I know it's a long journey and we have lots of things to deal with before we can finally be together - but I hope it will be easier now that I've found VJ - just talking to people that have been in the same situation makes the whole process seem a little easier ... THANK YOU!!!!

Our stories are very familiar and I feel very much the same as you. I've been 'in limbo' for years! However, we were lucky enough to share a home for over a year and a half. Not sure that makes it easier or more difficult!

Sending off the package was like a new chapter being started... it made me so happy! I hope that it is that way for you as well.

The waiting is very hard... but at least we're finally in the process and I just keep my eyes the prize that awaits! ;)
