Hi all, :crying:

Hubby had his 1st appt on June 9th and we were missing a few things the lady was real nice and tried to help him out. Hubby has a Voulantary Departure order from april of 2000 and they did not see it in their computer also his birth was not registered until 17yrs after he was born and I had outside with me all of our relationship information. Well she told him to get the info and call back and he can come in and finish his interview. When I called the number she gave him they told me they will send out another letter and he would have a new interview in about 1-2 months. He has already done the medical, and they took his fingerprints that day so he was half way done and then this happens. does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone have the # for Mr. B?

I think the medical is good for one year. So if the second appt is a few months later, he should be ok. They will just get the required documents from him and proceed with the interview. Was your hubby EWI or did he have legal paperwork at one time? If he was illegal in the US then they will deny him at that interview and tell him if he is eligible to file a waiver (I-601)
