Hi, my husband just received his greencard. We still have our N400 pending. We are getting a divorce. He wants to withdrawl the N400 application pending because he is afraid he will get into some trouble because we will not be married during the interview. I am still friends with him and have no hard feelings at all. I dont want to lie during the N400 interview so what is it best that he do? Is their a withdraw form he needs to fill out and if he does withdrawl the N400, will he loose his green card as well?

Sorry about your divorce. :(

I don't get how he "just" got the green card but already has the N400 Citizenship application pending? Is the green card a renewal or something?

Anyway, I would not worry about it. :no: First of all to withdrawal pending applications with USCIS it is a complicated hassle and mixes them up big time. Second of all, he can be honest at the interview and it should be OK. The main thing is to prove the marriage was real and true and not just for immigration. If plenty of proof is given that the marriage was bona fide but simply did not work out, they will give the approval. :thumbs:

Dec 7, 2010: Sent for Indian Passport Surrender Certificate
Dec 27, 2010: Surrender Certificate Arrives
Jan 3, 2011: Sent for Overseas Citizenship of India Card
March 1, 2011: Received OCI card!

Divorce

Feb 2015:​ Found out he was cheating (prostitutes / escorts)

​May 2015: Divorce Final
