Taking bag to London Embassy

I know you cant take keys are cell phones into the Embassy and I'm sure I saw this posted somewhere before but can you take a bag into the Embassy as in a document carrier? I've just looked on London's website and can't see any info anywhere :unsure:

We took a big over night bag in when i had my interview on the 28th, all we had to leave at the reception was our camera, we had to turn off our cell phones!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

I was under the impression you weren't allowed to bring big bags. I think James stored his at the train station because he thought he wasn't allowed so I've no idea whether he would have been allowed to take it in or not.

And I kinda HAVE to take my keys or I wont be able to get back into my HOUSE aftr the interview :blink:

If you have to CHECK your keys with reception that should be ok - is it safe to leave them?

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

I have taken my keys in with me both times, first time i had to leave my mobile at the front desk, 2nd had to leave camera.......yeah itssafe to leave anything, the guy gives you a numbered clip thing to collect it on exit!!

I had a briefcase with with me with my keys and cellphone. My daughter had her Nintendo DS with her. Just ask that electronic devices be switched off :)

Could your daughter play with her nintendo? I've heard of guys playing with their PSP's! My hubby has one, so might ask him to take it with him, to take his mind off the interview!
