Interesting detail: Yes, Hillary is set to have a net gain of some 10 delegates today according to the projections. And yet, there are some 470 delegates left at this point of which Obama needs a mere 155 to secure the nomination. Hillary, on the other hand, would need some 70%+ of all remaining delegates (elected and supers) to win the race. An order so tall that she can't even seem to fill it in WV today. If that ain't no indication that she's thoroughly done, then I don't know what is.

She's addressing her supporters:

"You won't quit and neither will I" (or something similar)

"This campaign has been good for the Democratic party"

"This election isn't about who's up or who's down"

"I will work my heart out for the nominee of the Democratic party"

"The election is still so close"

"If you give me a chance, Democrats, I'll win this state and the White House"

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

(The spinster has spun)

Clinton has continued to tout her electability, saying she's the stronger candidate to go up against Sen. John McCain, the presumptive GOP nominee, in November.

"I'm winning Catholic voters and Hispanic voters and blue-collar workers and seniors, the kind of people that Sen. McCain will be fighting for in the general election," Clinton said.

Clinton is also using electoral history to make her case.

"I think it's fair to say that West Virginia is a test. It's a test for me, and it's a test for Sen. Obama, because for too long we have let places like West Virginia slip out of the Democratic column. And you know it is a fact that no Democratic president has ever won the White House since 1916 without winning West Virginia," Clinton said.

Bill Clinton won West Virginia in 1992 and 1996. George W. Bush took the state in 2000 and 2004.
