question 25 on I-864 do we still check that case thta says (I have filed a Federal tax return for each of the three most recent tax years. I haveattached the required photocopy or transcript of my Federal tax return for only themost recent tax year.

If you have filed a Federal Tax Return for the last 3 years, and you have attached the required photocopy or transcript of your last Federal tax return, then yes, check the box. Why did this question confuse you?

I only had tax return for one year too. What I did was check the box but I crossed out "three" tax years and I wrote in the word "one". I also sent an explanation letter why I only had one year of tax returns. That worked for me and no questions asked.

what about the question 21

21. Your Household Size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

Part 5. Sponsor's household size.

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10.

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself.

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse.

i put 1 for my spouse on line 10 and on question b they say if you are currently married enter 1 for your spouse

what should we put

Did you read the instructions for the form?

Ask yourself these questions:

1) Are you sponsoring your spouse? Question B is in a section called Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit

2) Did you include 1 in question a for your spouse? This is based on the information from line 10 which is the total number of immigrants this affidavit is sponsoring

3) If you have 1 for your spouse in question a, and it says NOT to count anyone twice, do you think they should be counted twice and put into question B?

With those answered, what do you think needs to go into question B?
