Timeline

Anyone have an interview in Joburg in May? If so when did you send in your checklist?

I'm getting frustrates with waiting for our interview. Thought some input from you guys would make me feel better...

4/13/07 Met in South Africa

7/15/07 -8/8/07 I visited since he couldn't get a visitor visa

9/11/07 Sent in I-129F application

10/4/07 received receipt

10/14/2007 left for South Africa to wait for the paperwork until April

12/19/2007 applied for unabridged birth certificate

2/19/08 received approval

3/25/08 received NOA packet 3!

3/27/08 REapplied for unabridged birth certificate

3/27/08 Applied for police Certification

4/7/08 Medical exam

4/8/08 Finally received Birth certificate. queued at Home Affairs for 4 hours.

4/10/08 Faxed Packet 3 Checklist to Consulate

4/23/08 Arrived back in the US to get ready for Eben

4/29/08 Interview! Visa approved!

Have you received the Packet 3 yet? If so, make sure that you have everything that you the instruction says, and send or fax back only DS-230 part I and the check list sheet. Hope this will help you. Good luck.

04/11/2008 - USCIS received my package

04/28/2008 - Money Order cashed

04/29/2008 - NOA for AOS+EAD+AP

05/02/2008 - Received Hardcopies of NOAs

05/20/2008 - Biometric (Fingerprint)

05/21/2008 - AOS & EAD touched

05/29/2008 - AOS tranfered to CSC

06/04/2008 - AOS touched

06/06/2008 - AOS touched

06/10/2008 - EAD approved

06/10/2008 - AP approved

06/19/2008 - AOS touched

07/22/2008 - Received CRIS e-mail (Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident)

07/23/2008 - AOS touched

07/25/2008 - Received

We have everything and they have the forms. The case worker has everything he needs. We're just waiting for an interview date from the NVC...

4/13/07 Met in South Africa
