Why are the poor , poor? A new look at poverty

Well, as a poor person, I take offence to the post above I must say. I don't have a heckuva lot of money, but I try to eat as healthily as possible. But if a pound of fresh potatoes is going for $3 and a pound of frozen french fries is going for $1.45, I may just buy the frozen french fries, so that I can also get myself a bottle of generic analgesic for my headache.

There are some who will bilk the system no matter what you do for or to them, and no matter what the great and learned economists or Jim Cramer say. And then there are some, like my husband and myself, who have in previous lives been quite well off each of us, and because of circumstance, and depsite our efforts in the past couple of years, have found ourselves living quite below the poverty level. Sometimes shi t happens.

The poor are fatter than the rich! More coooopons. Fish sticks and tater tots. Med cooooopons,fooooood coooooopons,housing cooooopons. Its soooo sooooo bad for them . They have options but they choose their destiny. The free ride should be very short.
