Hi Catt,

I don't want to scare you or anything but you might get an RFE for n/a question. We did and for the exact same question: they point out that n/a isn't an appropriate answer and that we should put "none" instead. But i guess this depends a lot whether the person who's going through your file is old school or not. I hope you'll be lucky and you won't get an RFE, cause yeah they do cause delays.

Unfortunatelly i don't think the call will get you anywhere. They won't change the information in your file or put an explanatory note in it just because you called. Not even if you write them a letter i don't think it'll make it in your file. Unfortunately again, if something is wrong with your file you just have to wait and see if you get an RFE or it gets by unnoticed.

As someone said before: "waiting is the name of the game with USCIS". :clock:

Good luck to you!

Hey Madie, thanks for the reply.

We'll just wait and see.

How long of a delay did this cause for you, a few weeks?

Hi Cat,

Sorry it took me so long to reply. So we received the RFE on March 17th(according to the website date) and we received it in the mail on March 20. We sent our response back to USCIS on March 25th and according to the mail tracking they got it on the 26th. But USCIS got back to us only on April 7th saying that this was when they got our response and that the processing of our case was resumed and that it'll take up to 60 days :( for them to make a decision. So, again, waiting is the name of the game...sadly.

Good luck!

Madie
