Hey guys,

I have been spending the last three months with my husband here in America, we established our new home and all that stuff and now I have to leave cos the three months are over :crying:

I got lucky in February and could visit him on the Visa Waiver. We already got both of the NOA1's for I129f and I130....now its on me to settle down my life over there in my home country. It is kinda scary to know that I will leave everything behind me.

How did u guys feel when u finally moved over for good? Just happy??? Not a little bit scared?

I am also impatient to get approved but nevertheless it is a big big step. Sometimes i think it is not only a bad thing that we have to wait a couple months until we can move to America for good. You got a lot of time to accomplish for yourself if u really want it and if the relationship is stable enough to carry such hard times(mean the seperation).

Well...might sound stupid why would you marry someone you arent sure it would be stable enough to go through that ??? Hm....ok but however...I think we all make a really big step and everyone who is going through that should know how i feel. There are many doubts and much hope. Im going to be with him...no matter what...but still thought occur.

Actually I feel more grown up since I have been married to him and since we have to go through all that. And now that we are grown up life can throw rocks at us. And we are asked not to break down underneath them. Or how would u consider the seperation and all the pain caused by that??? Not to mention all the other things.

Guess Im gonna be more around in this forum when Im back in germany.

I just wanna let u know I really appreciate this website and that we support each other. It helps alot!

Good luck and cheer up :)

Isabel

Isabel,

I totally understand how you feel. I know you and I are luckier than some people on here because we get to spend somuch time with our husbands. But sometimes I think that in some ways it makes the separations harder. No sooner do we really start to feel like a married couple than the Visa Waiver is up and he's back to London for awhile. But I guess we just have to hope we did everything right and that the process goes smoothly. Good luck and ring if you need anything.
