The embassy will verify the aunthenticity of you birth certificate and CENOMAR to NSO ,i believe you will pay certain amount to metrobank a month before your actual interview.

We're all aware faking documents are very rampant in Philippines.the embassy just want to make sure that the documents of the visa applicant are real.

I agree with Mayumi. The embassy would like to be sure that the NSO docs you've submitted; BC, CENOMAR, or annotated MC are exactly the same ones they would get from the Delbros document verification.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

They will VERIFY your BC and CENOMAR in NSO

Hello fellow Vjers, I got one question to add to this: What should we do with our NSO docs for the verification? Do we have to send it to USEM upon/after paying the fee at Metrobank? or We will just keep them with us until the interview?

the doc verification fee is for delbros. they will verify your docs at the NSO then send them to the USEM. You will not get the docs. Just keep the deposit slip you paid for at Metrobank as your proof that you had paid delbros for doc ver fee. However you also need to get your own BC and CENOMAR in NSO secpa paper for your own copy for the interview.

Did you text DELBROS and receive a confirmation text for your doc verification payment? You may also want to call DELBROS to see if they forwarded the info to the US Embassy.

The US Embassy decides who needs their documents verified. It normally takes the Embassy about two weeks to send out a verification after payment. If they select you then the Docs are sent to the NSO through Delbros once a week.

But Beware!! the NSO could take a LONG TIME to Verify the documents...we've been waiting for nearly three weeks since the interview...and we submitted payment back in February. and the Embassy submitted a request two weeks before the interview as well. We are still waiting for NSO verification.

Also the Embassy frowns upon contact with the NSO (they told me so after I already did).

Sorry I just need to vent.

Yes you can. Metrobank employees does not know about it because its a transaction between US embassy and Delbros only. Get the account number of Delbros in the US embassy website. Make the deposit of P650 to Metrobank. Read the instruction in the embassy website on what infos to text Delbros. I forgot how it was done exactly but you are going to text your MNL case number, beneficiary's name, date and time of deposit.
