To all my friends here: From a telephonic call, Mumbai consulate notified me that our interview date has been set and that they sent packet-4 on March 4th. My fiancee has not received packet-4 and we have to physically collect it. Could you guys advise me on:

What evidence is required to be shown to consulate to collect packet-4?

Can our relative collect it if my fiancee is not able to do so

Can we collect through VFS-Kolkata

Thanks guys and greatly appreciate your response,

bengali lover

I am not sure of the answer to your questions. Maybe you should try to contact Mumbai Consulate by phone or email, and ask them direct.

Chennai Consulate sent us Packet 4 via email, maybe you can request the same of Mumbai. Good luck!

ELW & KehNeha: Thanks so much for your kind reply. With your advice, I am going to send a relative to Mumbai consulate.

Department of State just confirmed me the interview date. I am feeling good - just hope the interview goes well. Our case is straightforward - I hope no problem comes in the way.
