This question is probably obvious to many of you already but I'm just slightly confused. According to the guide for Spouse living with U.S. Citizen it says, "If you filed for an EAD, your spouse will get their Employment Authorization Document approved in 30 to 90 days and will be scheduled to have their picture taken and to have their EAD card issued."

I sent my papers on February 21. For some reason I thought I would see the fees deducted from my account within a few days along with some mail saying they recieved the papers, or does that start happening within the 30-90 days?

August 2003 - Became student in Michigan

October 2003 - Met Heather through a mutual friend

August 2004 - Began dating upon my return to school

August 2006 - Engaged

June 2, 2007 - Married!

July 30, 2007 - Filed I-130 to the wrong place, had to raise money for hiked fees

February 17, 2008 - (finally) filed I-130, etc.

Most people get their reciept with about a month of filing... I would think you should see your checks cashed soon and have the reciept soon after that...
