Another thing you may want to do is have her fill out all the forms herself and get them translated there then sent to you. She can download the G-325 from one of the fiancee sites and print it off, sign it, and send it to you and then she can get her divorce documents, etc., translated and sent to you.

It'll be a lot cheaper for her to do that stuff there than for you to do it here!

Oh, and I just noticed..... you don't need police record stuff just yet. They'll need that later, but not now.

We just filled out the forms over the phone. I asked the question in Russian, she answered in Russian, and I translated it into English. Simple as that. Then I saved the form. Emailed it to my wife. She printed it out at home. Signed it and sent it back via regular mail.

Given the 50% delivery rate from Russia we have seen over the years, I'd invest an extra 80 cents and mail two copies on different days. Everything we send there always arrives in about 10 days. Letters we get from Russia average about a month.

eekee,

I copied what you typed out to send to her. I wish she would look at the website but I am not sure she knows how to look it up. She did not get the copy. R & I emailed her and she said that she replied to her. I think I am dealing with a confidence problem with her. She is an attorney there but she has a slight confidence problem with English. She speaks well and writes ok, nothing a spell checker could not handle. She is afraid of making a mistake in English. I have never witnessed a person which spoke or wrote perfect English. I do not think it is possible.

I just want her to fill the forms out and get them to me so we can start the process. Every day I get more lonely being away from her.

Robert

PS: Thanks for the help!!

I don't know who. She just said yesterday morning that she received an email and she replied to it. I am getting seriously fustrated with her. The only thing on her mind the last few days was the Woman's Day Party with her friends and family. She is pushing my limit.

No, I did not send her flowers. I sent her what she wanted. She gets mad when I send flowers. It's not the fact of the holiday, she used it as an excuse. She is doing strange things when I ask certain questions she has previously answered. I am not sure that she wants to fill out the paperwork. This has been happening for weeks now. She has started not eating, she lives with her parents now and they have food. There are some strange things going on and all together is causing me to question our relationship. She received her gift on Wednesday and afterwards, it was like sometimes, I did not exist. Whatever is going on, I cannot help if I don't know.

It sounds to me like you guys talk (or message or Skype or whatever) way too much.

If you're trying to get in touch with her and she's busy doing stuff in her normal life, it may seem like she's blowing you off, but in reality, she's just going on with her normal life. When she's ready to talk to your or do the papers or whatever, maybe then she'll make it seem like you exist.

In the mean time, don't take it personally, just be patient. She'll get it done. She'll make time.

And if she doesn't..... well, then you're saving yourself a whole bunch of time because you'll know before getting further along in this VJ process whether or not she's as serious about this whole thing as you are.

Try not calling her for a few days. Don't send any messages. Nothing. Let her come back to you and then tell her the seriousness of getting this $#!T done. Her actions will let you know.
