Good day everyone!

Me and my fiance is a November filer. It's been 3 months now since we submitted our papers to the USCIS. While waiting for a reply from the US government (for our NOA2), I am currently making myself busy preparing the necessary documents for my interview. Is there any link here which lists all documents needed for me to procure? I knew some important docs, but I need a complete list.

Here are also some concerns I want to get help of:

1. For Police Clearance, is the NBI certificate (I'm from Philippines) alone enough or do I need to secure a police clearance from my local community?

2. My birth certificate is noted with "late registration." Will this bring attention to the interviewing officer in the Embassy? What documents do I need to support that I am a Filipino citizen?

3. How about the Affidavit of Support? Should my fiance send me this document or is it already provided in the packet that will be sent to me?

4. Do I need a photo copy of his passport?

I still need to think of some concerns that I will meet along the way and will surely add it here.

Thank you in advance for the clarification and help.

Love,

Ryrie

Here are also some concerns I want to get help of:

1. For Police Clearance, is the NBI certificate (I'm from Philippines) alone enough or do I need to secure a police clearance from my local community?

*Police certificates are required if you stayed in another country for at least 6 months. In my case I never left the country but I still secured my local police clearance & NBI clearance which I'll bring with me on the day of my interview.

2. My birth certificate is noted with "late registration." Will this bring attention to the interviewing officer in the Embassy? What documents do I need to support that I am a Filipino citizen?

*Secure your birth certificate printed in NSO paper. Even if you are late registered, NSO has a record of it. Also, secure your CENOMAR for this will be required along with your birth certificate.

3. How about the Affidavit of Support? Should my fiance send me this document or is it already provided in the packet that will be sent to me?

*the notarized Affidavit of Support will be sent to you by your fiance and this document is not included in the packet.

4. Do I need a photo copy of his passport?

*I don't think this will be required. During interview what the CO requires are proofs of genuine relationship between you and your fiance. You can read posts here that will guide you on what to prepare for the interview. Goodluck to you!

Thanks for the clarifications. I have already secured my CENOMAR and my birth certificate duly authenticated by the NSO.

I see that you are scheduled for interview on March. I wish you good luck. I'm sure you'll get the visa on hand after the interview. I'm happy for you :)

Thanks again. Your help is very much appreciated.
