OK I am about to file the I-129f for my fiance... the peoblem is I dont really have a contact telephone number in the country where I am working.. I have a local cellphone here and we have an office land line but I am not close to the office most of the time. should I just put my State side phone number and have some one send me the message if they call or list my cell phone number for the country I am working in as well as my home phone?

Thanks,

Red and Pim

USCIS should be able to contact you as swiftly as possible...I would use you cell along with your work number. The person that you use as a point of contact should be very dependable, because some things are very very time sensitive with USCIS. Send a letter stating that you are currently working overseas and when you may possible return. Make sure that you explain your special situation well. Do not put your trust in USCIS make sure that you have copies of your packet and any originals that you send. Cover your ###...and good luck.

OK but the blank on the form only has room for one number. Should I include this information on a seperate sheet or should I include and explaination of my situation and all of my contact numbers in my cover letter???

In my situation of not having reliable communications except for email and my cell phone that gets poor signal in my location... Do you think it would be wise to hire a lawyer??

Only you can answer that question, but as for myself, I'd have to feel pretty cut off before I paid a lawyer for any of this.
