Why are the parents of children who play sports so annoying ?

Parents map out their kids lives from an early age in terms of education which should be a good thing. However, I do believe from what I have witnessed that some of the sports obsession is to do with scholarships even as early as 5 years old and that can have these very undesirable side effects. Of course the other things, living vicariously etc all play a part in how this goes down I am sure.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I have to register my kid for softball today. I also have to watch a 20 min video.

On the paper it says the video is "to promote positive behavior among parents in youth athletics"

Pretty sad it's come to that, but some things I heard last year from the parents watching, just astounded me.
