Travelling close to Gc expiration date

Hey

We are getting ready to file for removal of conditions, as my GC expires on May 15th 2008. We have planned a trip back to the UK in March and was wondering if it would be a problem with just over a month left on the card at the date of my return. I assume that as long as my GC has not expired that I should be OK. I have heard in the past that traveling with less than 3 months on passports is not advisable and I was wondering whether it applies to the GC card as well.

Should not be a problem, especially if you have the extension letter. I had both and got hassled in Minnesota. Thne I travelled again and it was fine in New Jersey so it is up to the officer but generally you should be fine with either a valid card or letter, ideally both.
