Is it bad to get an AOS interview letter nowadays?

It feel like there are more people on VisaJourney being approved without interviews, and I am just being nervous if people whose cases need to be looked in deeper are requested to appear for interviews?

And it says "REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW". Is this the normal interview? or is "initial interview" a special thing?

We just had a Biometrics appointment on January 23, 2008 and was nervous about receiving a RFE. Since we got this letter, can we assume that we aren't subject to any RFEs?

Is it possible that we will be asked for RFEs at the interview?

The interview letter also lists items that I need to bring. Are they all the same for any kind of AOS applicants? What I mean is that the letter is requesting some items that we have already submitted, so I was wondering if the letter is pre-formatted for any AOS applicant and we just need to bring what applies to us? (The letter does say (unless already submitted), but I am just extra nervous since I was not expecting the interview letter to come so early.)

I am sorry if I am asking too many stupid questions. I am panicking a bit since I wasn't expecting this for a while.

Thanks

That is the standard letter that everyone gets for interview. They are just covering themselves in case they need a follow up interview (rare).

You can get a RFE at any time including at interview if the IO feels something is missing from your case.

Just take everything on the list with you including a copy of your AOS papers (if you made one) and anything else you can think of that may or even may not be asked for...

Oh and since it is tax time, i fyou have done your taxes and will get a copy before your interview take this years with you as well.

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline

kim&james,

I will bring everything we have plus our new tax documents if they are ready before the interview.

Thanks for your suggestion.
