We had our AOS interview in July 2007 and due to the I130 still in name check, we are still waiting. We received a letter from our congressman stating that once the name check has been completed they will mail us a decision. Does that mean we will not have another interview for AOS?

I forgot to mention that previously we received a letter from USCIS that our I130 is still pending name check and we will be contacted for an interview. The letter we received yesterday mentioned no interview just that they will mail us a decision.
