Hi everyone, I just wanted to check in here to see if there is any big changes with the K-1 visa process since I'v been waiting for the NOA2.. I applied in February and our estimate for approval is MAY 5. I havn't been on this site for some time and I wanted to check to see if there was any big news lately :)

Service Center : Nebraska Service Center

Consulate : Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

I-129F Sent : 2006-02-07

I-129F NOA1 : 2006-02-14

I-129F RFE(s) : None

I-129F NOA2 : 2006-04-24

NVC Received : 2006-05-09

Packet 3 Received : 2006-06-09

Packet 3 Sent : 2006-06-26

Called Cons. and was told Interview date: Sept. 26!

Packet 4 Received week later: 2006-08-16

In the last month we've had a few VJ members going through HCMC who are reporting that HCMC will no longer accept co-sponsors and this resulted in their fiance's not getting their visas. It hasn't been confirmed that this is an absolute blanket policy as HCMC denies it, however it's been a while since we've had a K1 visa issued when the petitioner is using a co-sponsor.

17-May -04 Divorce Final. I-129F submitted to USCIS

02-July -04 NOA1

30-Aug -04 NOA2 (Approved)

13-Sept-04 NVC to HCMC

08-Oc t -04 Pack 3 received and sent

15-Dec -04 Pack 4 received.

24-Jan-05 Interview----------------Passed

28-Feb-05 Visa Issued

06-Mar-05 ----Nicole is here!!EVERYBODY DANCE!

10-Mar-05 --US Marriage

01-Nov-05 -AOS complete

14-Nov-07 -10 year green card approved

12-Mar-09 Citizenship Oath Montebello, CA

May '04- Mar '09! The 5 year journey is complete!
