as I recall, it took about 2 weeks for my wife to get her passport.

march 24, 2007-met online

june 26, 2007-met in person in cebu airport(our 1st met)

july 4,2007-sad day :(

august 28, 2007-I-129 f sent

sept. 4, 2007-NOA1 received

oct.13,2007-met again in cebu airport(our 2nd met)

oct.26, 2007-very sad day :(

dec. 22, 2007-NOA2 received

still waiting the packet!!!!

feb.25, 2008-medical

march 1, 2008-my fiance is coming back here to be w/ me during my interview :dance:

march 3, 2008-interview

07 Sep 2007 - 8 day vacation to Manila

19 Nov 2007 - NOA2

17 Dec 2007 - per phone call, case left NVC for USEM

15 Jan 2008 - per phone call 11:30pm CST (Jan 16 in Manila) interview date obtained

7/21/07 - Check FINALLY Cashed!!!

7/24/07 - Finally got receipt number off the back of cancelled check!

11/23/07 - Our first ever touch!

11/27/07 - Touched on website

11/28/07 - NOA2!!!!!!!!

I-129f was approved in 160 days from your filing date.

12/21/07 - Received at NVC and assigned case number!

the visa fee is the peso equivalent of $131. good thing I called a friend who works at BPI before I pay, it's P5,371, the bank will validate your ds-157 (you may bring your own form, the bank can also provide the form), pls note

that only 1 ds-157 will be validated. - i paid this already last jan 8. - i dont know if the rate changed.

medical fee is P6,090. -- i had my medical last Jan 23, Day 1: started 6 am, finished 9:30 am, Day 2: 9am - 1030am

i suggest you take an early medical appointment and avoid going there on Mondays and Fridays, someone told me at St Luke's that many people

go there on those days.

What Visa fee are you talking about Noki? Is this fee for K1 visa only or does CR-1 applicants have to pay another fee? I really hope we don't have to pay anything else cuz we are short of money now with all does past fees hehe..

T_and_A if you are on March 3 maybe you can join our celebration night time of march 3? :dance::dance::dance: We will stay at Bayview hotel and planning to have parade dawn of March 3 going to US Embassy. :lol::lol::lol: So far Che and Neren agreed to this silly plan. :lol::lol: Seriously, you can join us on Bayview and can go to embassy together. If we all got approve, we will have small party at night..Celebrate!

My step-daughter is a K-2 (Follow to Join) and she has her interview on March 3 as well, but she is a little young to hang all of you I suppose. :lol: Her Lola will take her to the interview there in the Embassy. Just wanted to say that they received their packet 4 already too for those that were wondering about the packet receipt. Good luck to all!
