I know Rey will want to do whatever's the most fun, and I don't mind that kind of thing at all. :)

rey, have someone pm you where the tarts hang out.

:secret: West End

The clip joints are a notorious tourist trap. Definitely one to be avoided.

 How do you know?????

A couple of my mates stupidly got themselves into one of those places, and got hit up for 700 quid. One had the sense to leg it as soon as he got outside, but the other guy got marched to the ATM before being given a "stern warning".

that couch surfer website looks kinda cool we might join!

It's great, but it's best if you don't live in a big city. My profile used to say "Minneapolis" but after I changed it to "New York" three weeks ago, I haven't stopped getting requests. At least one person a day. So far I've said no to everyone because my BIL is staying with us now. So mostly I just feel guilty all the time, turning everyone down. If you live in Evansville, it would probably be a great thing to join.

cool thanks! yeah we don't live in a big city. I was just wondering how many people would want to visit me here? probably none unless they want to go see santa claus land or something haha.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Yeah, you would be surprised... there's always someone passing through, for a conference or visiting someone or whatever. It's so much better that way because someone might ask to stay with you every two or three months, which is a reasonable amount of people. Then, when you travel, you get most of the benefits of being a member. (I guess... a lot of people enjoy hosting but I have never been a fan of throwing parties or having house guests... unless it's hubs brother -- so much fun! -- but not strangers.)
