Love your site, Aly! You went to UWE? I know it well -- my ex went to law school there while I was completing my Master's at Bristol. I miss Bristol still -- I loved looking out the window of my flat in Woodland Road in Clifton and seeing all those fluffy sheep on a hillside in the distance...sigh.

My visa arrived this morning. :dance:

I'm so excited and I can't stop looking at it. :lol:

I really must go and find something to do to take my mind off it. It's not like I don't have anything better to do such as packing, sorting stuff out, paperwork, cancelling things, changing my address etc. etc.

Maybe just one more quick glance. :)

Wow - small world!!! I went out with a guy when I was in UWE as well - was in CEMS department - funny that we both did and now are both looking to the other side of the pond!!! Do you know Bristol Business park? It is right opposite UWE on the other side of the big roundabout - that's where I am working at the moment :)

I live in Winterbourne - you might not have come across it - it's not far away but in the opposite direction from the city :)

I found in some other threads that Chris & Amye were approved yesterday, as was NikkisPrecious today! Just waiting to hear from Shroty & Nilz before I update the list!!

Hopefully a few more members will get P4 today too!!!

Unlikely I'll be on that list!! :lol: Very lame at my end although with going out to the US for three weeks next month it's prolly not that big a deal :) I'll panic after... have enough to worry about in the meantime!

02/05/2008 flew to JFK then onto Tampa (received EAD 90 days at JFK)

02/11/2008 applied for marriage license

02/14/2008 marriage ceremony

03/27/2008 sent application for AOS and 1 year EAD

03/29/2008 AOS and EAD Applications arrived at Chicago

04/03/2008 AOS and EAD NOA 1 Mailed

04/07/2008 AOS and EAD NOA 1 received in mail

04/07/2008 AOS and EAD touched and eneterd onto online system

04/11/2008 received bio appt for 05/06/08 at 11am

04/11/2008 National Center agreed to review reasons to expedite EAD

04/21/2008 *touched*

05/06/2008 Attended bio successfully

05/18/2008 received RFE for I-485

08/09/2008 mailed back RFE details

08/21/2008 phoned USCIS about I-765 being over 90 days - they hung up on me

July 7th 2007....NOA1

November 8th....NOA2

December 8th.....Packet 3 Received (Sent back 10th)

January 8th.....Packet 4 Received

January 16th.....Interview in London

January 20th....Flight to AZ via JFK, received temp EAD

February 29th...Civil Ceremony

March 10th...I485, I765 & I131 sent to Chicago

March 22nd....Received NOA for I485, I131 & I765 (All dated March 18th)

March 24th....Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (dated March 20th)

April 7th...Request for Initial Evidence for I485 (Received in MO on the 10th)

April 9th....Biometrics Appointment

May 30th...EAD Card Production Ordered and AP Approved

June 7th....Wedding!!

June 13th...EAD Card & AP in hand

September 22nd...AOS Interview - APPROVED!

Nov 21st...Card Production Ordered!

Nov 22nd...Welcome to America Letter Received

Nov 29th 2008...Green Card Received!!!

Aug 20th 2010...Mailed I-751 to CSC

Aug 23rd...Check Cashed

I forgot to ask yesterday about the Brown envelope I need to take with me. Do they send this brown envelope with my passport? I was just so excited I forgot to ask the question!
