I thought they weren't going to be out until January 2nd (like the website says) but it popped up into my email today.

I did better than I thought but not as well as I hoped. (expectations and dreams are two different things) So now I just have to sit tight and pray the admission board (at my ONE school) looks favorably upon my application.

Nothing I say is legal advice. I recommend you consult a qualified immigration attorney for any questions you may have.

Good luck! I hope you get in. Although, having taken a law school class this semester, I think you might be crazy. ;)

You're not kidding. I took a graduate level class a few years ago that basically involved going over IT related case studies and OMG the amount of reading alone ... I was not cut out for it. I did fine but after it was over I decided not to continue.

Singers, good luck :)

I had once thought of law school, and that class validated my decision not to go in that direction. But on the other hand, all my friends who went to law school seemed to really love it. It seems that those who follow through (like Singers here) often feel law school classes validate their decision to go to law school.

Agreed, I've seen the same. My peers who graduated with me and went on to law school are now all so happy and comfortable. They slogged for a few years, spent many nights sleeping on a couch at work, but it's eased since and they're all so much better off for it. It's definitely high up there on careers that are totally "worth it". Whether one likes the job or not, of course, is different.
