Hi,

I found out today i have an interview for my 15 year old son in London on January 4th at 8.00am

I have to book flights asap and i was wondering what is a safe time frame to book a flight back with me for my son after the interview.

I will do the courier service.

His interview is a Friday would the following Sunday be good. That would give us 9 days.

Thank You

If you have an interview Friday provided the visa is approved the courier should deliver it by the following Wednesday. However it isn't certain and some people have waited a couple of weeks for the visa to be delivered.

If you want to book a flight before you have the visa in hand, book a ticket that allows the travel date to be changed not one that doesn't allow a change or refund unless you feel lucky.

Agreed.

Also, there may be something wrong at the interview that requires you to leave and then send in more information before the visa is approved and sent, which can cause a delay of a couple weeks. That sort of thing can happen even for something as simple as them deciding they need more supporting documents.
