Consulate Review: Chennai, India Review Topic: K3 Visa Event Description Review Date : February 24, 2010 Embassy Review : Excellent. Only thing is that they did not let me (US citizen) to accompany my wife to the interview and I was stopped outside. However, they did tell me that if I walk over a bit I should see another entrance and if I present my passport they will let me in to the Waiting area. I went and sat in the waiting area for some time and then came and waited outside the first gate so i can meet my wife when she comes out and not miss her. After about 1.5hr my wife came out and she said that everyone at the embassy were very courteous and helpful. Overall very satisfying. Also prior to the interview we called the embassy a few times with questions on our interview date, documents to submit to VFS etc and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful on the phone as well as through email. Rating : Very Good
