Comments : The officer at POE(LAX) was not nice at all... He asked me when we were getting married. As I answered we will have a civil wedding within three months, he was like "you are getting married within three months and do not even know the exact date...?" He kept asking me the same question over and over again, looking for any flaws in my answer.... So, I kept telling him the same answer. Then, he finally understood. My advice here is "be consistent on what you say to them." They can be mean to you or they may try to lead some specific answers from you, but I think they are just trying to see whether you are being honest with them. So, be confident and be consistent. It took him about 15 mins to let me go through the POE..... But, here I am, having happy days with my fiancee. So, just remember to be confident and consistent at POE. Good Luck!

Comments : Though we had to wait for an interview for about one hour, the actual interview took us less than 15 minutes. Our IO was a very nice lady. She asked us very basic questions. No cross examination was made. Two prominent questions she asked us were how we met and who those people in our wedding pics are.
One problem we faced was that the vaccination letter which my civil surgeon sealed in an envelope did not have a check in a box "All vaccination requirements are met." So, she was about to tell me to go back to civil surgeon and get another letter..... However, the letter civil surgeon gave me had a check in the right box and I brought a copy of it with me. As I showed the copy as well as vaccination letter from my K1 case, she told me that she would replace it with the one in file and there will be no problem. So, I really suggest you to bring copy of everything. I really mean everything.
Anyway, the IO gave me an approval letter and told me that I should receive GC in mail within 30 days.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
