Consulate Review: Montreal, Canada
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 10, 2008
Embassy Review : The trip was very long..it was almost 7 hours from Toronto to MOntreal. Al and I had never been to MOntreal before and the place is like a total foreign place for us. Oh well, we got lost for at least 3 times till we find the Hotel.

Was up 5:45am Feb 01, 2008. Had a quick breakfast and left the hotel 7:10am.

Got there first at the embassy, yet being called third for the interview..I believe because my appointment was scheduled on 9:30am.

Questions were so easyyyyyy...we were asked the usual questions of how did we meet? where to stay when we get to the US? When is the wedding plan? What will I do when I get there?

For the record I will say its so easy...stressed and nervousness I had bef0re the interview were all wasted. We didnt even asked even a single letter or any other forms except for my Birth Certificate, police clearance, picture & passport.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
