Event Description
Review Date : May 27, 2009
Embassy Review : IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL ON VJ TO PROVIDE THIS INFO TO HELP THOSE FOLLOWING BEHIND YOU. I STRONGLY URGE EACH ONE OF YOU TO DO SO. WE ALL NEED
THE HELP AND OTHER NOTES BY OTHERS HERE HELPED DORA AND ME GET A PINK!!

Dora,(my fiancee) arrived about 6:15AM for her 7:15AM interview. There were about 100 people in line. Once inside gave all P-4 forms,I-134 and other items (not married doc and police report of no crimes) to a person to review. (do not believe this was a VO.) He asked if she wanted to speak English and she said yes, but please ask the VO to speak slowly. Had finger prints taken and took an oath swearing to tell truth in response to VO questions. Waited about 30 minutes when her name was called. Dora placed a big stack of our proof of relationship on the counter and the VO (a young handsome American man) asked the following questions:
1.)How did you meet your fiance?
2.) How many times did he come to visit you in China
3.) How long have you know each other?
4.) Do you know that your fiance was divorced before?
5.) Please show me pictures of you and your fiance together in China.[we had 30 pictures]

He smiled and after reviewing the pictures said the following:

"Welcome to the USA. Your VISA has been approved".

Please note that none of our carefully indexed proof of relationship, proof of residency and my original divorce papers and birth certificate were reviewed.

The VO did say that all the forms that were submitted before the interview were
very well put together and were easy to follow and he thanked my fiancee for doing such a good job on them. She replied that her fiance helped her and did most of the work. They both laughed and she went skipping off with her pink form raised high over her head.

The interview was fast, efficient and went extremely well.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
