Event Description

Embassy Review : Had interview today. Had the blonde woman, Maureen. She took 5 minutes and looked at nothing. We had over 600 emails, chats, phone calls, photos and scrapbook. Everything was organized in a binders, the letter from the congressman on top so she could see it clearly ( congressman's office also called and wrote to consulate before interview). My fiance saw approved on the file she had before she even asked anything. She asked a few questions about age difference as I am older. I had included a letter from my son and she did look at it. We got 221g for AP.
Rating : Poor

Embassy Review : Appointment was for 1:15pm. We arrived at 12:30. We were called at 1:30pm. The IO was smiling and welcomed us. He took us to his office, swore us both in. He asked for our ID and then said he had studied our file and believed it was bonafide. He asked routine questions. He asked to see health insurance and nothing else.He said the file had all the proof he needed. He then said I will approve you today. He took the AP and EAD and stamped the passport with the I 551.He explained the next process for lifting of conditions, congratulated us and we left. He was very professional and tried to alleviate any stress from the beginning.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
