Consulate Review: Nigeria Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : January 9, 2008 Embassy Review : wow!! visa approved. I'm just excited!! My fiance got to the consulate at 6:00AM and by 7:35AM he already got his tag number(IV #).He made a payment of $131 for the visa fee and was interview by the lady in window 12. The interview went well.The duration was about 15-20 minutes. Below are the questions asked: 1. TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FIANCEE 2. HOW DID YOU MEET HER 3. WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT HER 4. WHAT DO YOU GUYS HAVE IN COMMON 5. HAVE YOU MET YOUR FIANCEE'S PARENTS 6. HOW MANY TIMES DID SHE VISIT YOU AND WHEN LAST DID SHE VISIT 7. WHEN AND HOW DID YOU PROPOSE TO HER 8. PLACES YOU VISITED WHEN SHE CAME TO NIGERIA 9. DID YOU HAD AN ENGAGEMENT PARTY. 10.PICTURES AND EMAILS NOTE: She read through our emails and was particular about the dates before the filling and the content of our discussion. She didn't ask for all other documents like call history, bank statement, tax returns, tax transcripts/W2s, letters from employment, pay slips etc. ADVICE: Don't include pictures you took at the studio. Make sure all pictures were "real-life" pictures at locations and not at a photo studio. Because my fiance took a lot of our studio photos which made her to ask more questions. So just save yourself the stress. Thank you... Rating : Good

POE Review: JFK Event Description Entry Date : 2008-01-19 Embassy Review : JFK was great. I will recommend it anytime. The customs guys did not even check my lauggage and I was issued work authorization. Total time spent at the airport was 20minutes. Harassment Level : Low
