POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-04-07
Embassy Review : Well, we landed about 45 minutes earlier than expected which was good. We left the plane and headed to the immigration and customs area. I wasn't feeling well once we got there so I told Donna to wait on the bench for me while I used the facilities. Once I returned we headed to the foreign visitors line which was half gone by the time I had returned and it moved quickly afterwards. We went through the one station and I handed the agent my passport, Donna's passport and K-1 packet from the embassy. We both said good evening to him and he didn't say anything in return (how rude!). He processed my return in the passport. I said "Thank You" and nothing was said in return again. While he was processing Donna's stuff, I was observing an agent in the next line while was giving a woman a hard time because her husband wasn't with her. He was 20 feet away standing because they got separated and the agent seen him she told him and still gave her a hard time. During that time, Donna got her finger print and guess what! The agent spoke! (LOL) I missed it but he asked her if she wanted to work and she said yes. He then directed us down the hall to a room to get processed which took about 2 minutes once we walked in. After that, we collected our baggage, took a taxi ti Laguardia and off to Pittsburgh we went. I think our agent was upset because he couldn't give her a hard time because I was there...LOL
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
