Port of Entry Review

Port of Entry : San Francisco
POE Date : 2018-06-04
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 5
Comments : I took Philippine Airlines direct flight from Manila to San Francisco, the plane exactly arrived at 6:05 in the evening.

After disembarking the plane everyone has to go to immigration line there’s 2 lines separates the residents and visitors, I have to go to visitor line as I am a holder of a K1 Visa, it was really a long line it took me like 45 minutes before I spoke to an officer.

Officer asked my K1 Visa packet and asked me just 1 question “why are you visiting the United States” and I told him “to marry my fiancé” he stamped my passport and my visa packet. He let me pass the gate.

The next step was getting the luggage, I didn’t have a hard time getting my luggage, when I went to the conveyor belt my luggage was already on the floor arranged properly, maybe because I took business class from PAL that’s why they prioritized my luggage.

After that, everyone is going outside the airport already to see their love ones falling in-line to this security officer , and the officer is checking this small piece of paper in order for your to get out.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any piece of paper from the immigration so this officer asked to go to another officer (looks like a custom) I was falling in-line while on my phone and this officer shouted at me “get off of your phone!” he is so rude and arrogant he asked me that there should be a paper given on the first line which is the immigration, he asked me to check all my stuff, he asked me to open my attaché where all my documents are, but I keep on insisting that there’s no really paper given to me.

He checked his computer, and asked me a lot of question, about my fiancé, about our marriage, our relationship. Mind you his questions are harder than the visa interview. It creeps me out seriously, I thought I’m not gonna be able to enter the United States.

After that interview, he let me pass the gate, my hands are shaking. That interview really made me nervous.

And finally, reunited to my Fiancé.

Event Description
Review Date : May 30, 2018
Embassy Review : just finished my immunization May 22, 2018 and i am not aware if you
Went to sputum procedure St. Lukes wont give you the brown envelope which is the medical result, but i was still advice that i can proceed on my embassy interview the next day May 23, the nurse told me they will forward the result May 23 same day as my interview and they will email US Embassy to inform them, to accomodate me at the embassy for the interview..

i had my interview last May 23,2018 wednesday, during my pre-screening interview with the Filipino interviewer she asked me the brown envelope which is the medical result from st lukes, i told her "St Lukes told me they will forward it today" i was put on hold for about 20 minutes Filipina interviewer asked me to sit down first she will call me back through the pager. I think they verified it with St. Lukes, so she called me back to her window she put a note on my ds160 "to follow medical, ok for interview"

Filipino interviewer asked a lot of questions, and our pictures together, how did we meet, for how long my fiancee usually visits me. While answering those questions it seems that shes putting my answer to the computer so that the American consul will see it later on.

so during interview with the American consul everything was fine and went well, He didnt ask for our pictures together, nor financial support.

He asked what is my fiancees' work and where he was born.

He asked me if i have relatives in the US, i said i have a sister in the US, then he asked "is your sister near to your fiancees' house? I said no because my sister is from Colorado and my Fiancee is from CA.

it seems that he's really trying to check if my information on DS160 matches my answer on his question.

I think the reason why he didnt bother to check our pictures together because the Filipina Interviewer already proved that our relationship is genuine when she check our album during pre-screening, and i think that what she's putting on the computer so the American consul was able to check it.

After the interview he gave me the Domestic Violence pamphlet, and explain that they will have to wait for my Medical result from SLEC and asked me to go to releasing area.

on the realesing area, the Filipina told me that i have nothing to do on my end, they will just basically wait for the medical result from St. Lukes.. But she still sent me the 221g form on my email specific for my medical result.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
