In the end, we admitted one thing: “absence makes
the heart grow fonder”. Our distance apart, our
struggles together, and our companionship built a
life-long trust within us.

It is true that Long Distance Relationship is real
hard, the only key to maintain is you need to trust
each other, have a constant communication, have a
plan of meeting each other “personally” at least
once or twice a year to know each other more better
and a clear plan of settling together. And be really
faithful to each other while in a distance.

Enjoy the journey. Live through the stress, break
through the confusion, wait patiently for the
government cogs to turn, and rise above the
anger…Take the journey together and make your
relationship even stronger.

Filipino Consul Interview in TAGALOG:
-My name, my birthday, name of Fiancé, How/When did you met? When was the last time he visited you?and for how long? When did he proposed? Did you visited Visayas or Mindanao? What did you do there? What's your phone number and email?

FINGERPRINTING (American) :
- 4 fingers for both hands, then 2 thumbs together

American Consul Interview :
- My name, my birthday, name of Fiancé, How did you met? When was the last time he visited you? What did you do when he was here? What's your fiancé's job? Do you have kids? Do he have kids? Are you married before? Is he married before? And she uttered the magic words "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE APPROVED!" and gave me a pamphlet and said just call 911 for any domestic violence. Didn't asked for the Affidavit of support, ITR, paystubs, bank statements and employment info from my fiancé. I also prepared lots of proofs of relationship like photo albums, chat logs, receipts but they NEVER asked for it. The process was smooth and the CO is nice and sweet. Just be confident and think that all the hurdles will all be worth it after all.

Enjoy the journey. Live through the stress, break through the confusion, wait patiently. Take the journey together and make your relationship even stronger.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
