Congratulations! btw, I noticed you had your interview in November. How come you didn’t get approved until February?

Thanks Maria!!! Be aware that some people will get their approval the same day as the interview BUT, USCIS has a few months to have a case reviewed by a supervising case officer. Sometimes a file can "sit on someone's desk" so you must wait a minimum of 60 to 90 days before inquiring about the status. We waited the minimum of 61 days and then submitted an online inquiry. About 2 weeks later, we got the approval letter in the mail and then the following week we got the green card. The link to make a status inquiry in case you don't get approval at the interview is as follows: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do ... one final word. Some people get scheduled for a SECOND interview. This is a "stokes interview" which is when they separate you (more like an interrogation). Should this happen, get a lawyer, but this usually happens ONLY when they suspect the relationship is fraudulent. Hope that helps - =) James & Sarah

Thank you. Interview in 2 weeks! ðŸ™ðŸ¼
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
