Event Description

Embassy Review : I got to the embassy around 6.50am .i looked for a place to keep my bag and got closer. We were called to form the queue around 7.15am .I entered the building by 7.25am .Almost all the people i entered with were called and i was not.I think i was the only K1 visa applicant today.I was called to window one at 9.05am to submit my document. The guy was quiet nice.He asked for all relationship evidence i had on me and all other details.

i was told to go and sit.at 9.55am,i was called to window 6 for the real interview. The CO was a woman, very nice face.

QUESTIONS
So you have a relative in the USA
What is her name
How long has she lived in USA
What does she do?
how long have you know your fiance
where did you meet
has he met your family?
have you met his family?
how many times have you met him

Then she said everything looks good.APPROVED. OMG i wanted to cry.My living God did not fail me.My fiance filed the petition originally on march 29th 2016.we have waited for close to a year.I went to the embassy on october 26 2016 for appoinment letter and was given january 16th which turned out to be a holiday. We had to go online for a new date and had 16th february. Thanks to Linda whom i met for the first time at the embassy. She is a true sister. She helped correct my document and introduced me to Visa Journey.God bless all members here too.I wish everyone who is yet to go through this phase well.

Thank you thank you my living God.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
